3-Umpire System Camp

The 3-Umpire System Development Camp includes a short “classroom-session” that will be held online via zoom on the evening of Thursday, October 6th from 6:00 pm to approximately 8:00 pm. This session will include some discussion of the “3-Umpire System by our Umpire Development Staff. It will also cover what to expect in the on-field session that will be held the following Saturday, October 8th.

The on-field session for the 3-Umpire System Camp will be held at the Lakepoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA, just north of Atlanta. This will include live games where you will be observed and instructed by GHSA Evaluators. This camp is for umpires that will be eligible to work the post season, but do not have much experience in the 3-Umpire System or for umpires that want to expand their skills. There is no charge for this camp, but it does not include ANY camp credit for the season. To receive Varsity or Post-Season credit, you will have to also attend one of those camps. This camp in by invitation only and will be limited to only 24 umpires. If you are interested in attending, contact your District Coordinator soon as spots will fill up fast.
